Tivoli Oriente Lisboa Hotel, Lisbon

After a long day, the room didn't have a city view as booked, but it had the most connection and featured a fridge and a comfy bed. The service, though extremely friendly and very attentive, faced some issues such as stained carpet, smelly rooms, and leaking bathrooms. The location, while close to Metro and offering access to oriental grocery stores and a shopping mall, suffered from huge noise from the train. The dining experience was good, especially with freshly made fried eggs by a nice woman.

The hotel is located beside the Tagus River, with metro-trains close by making it convenient. The rooms were clean and a good size, but had some maintenance issues like marks on the toilets that required using a nylon for the seat, AC not working properly, and a few non-functional lamps. After a long day, it offers a comfortable stay in a great location.

The hotel has a prime location, ideal for travelers arriving late or departing early, near transportation hubs and shopping centers. The rooms, though outdated and with a smell, offer a sea view but do not match the website images. The service is exceptional, with a warm welcome despite some noise from early food preparation. The dining options, while varied, lack healthy and vegan choices.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The lower floor room I got had a 'city view' that didn't match my booking request, but it did overlook the river. On the upside, the room had a Nespresso machine and the breakfast was delicious.

The service was great, especially Riccardo who gave us excellent tourist advice about beautiful Sintra. The location is brilliant for commuting to and from other places, being near Estacio Oriente. The facilities are good, with a variety of services available.
